Would you like to keep track of upcoming strategy games without having to click around multiple publishers and developers?
I built a simple calendar with Claude Code that uses Steam data to track upcoming and recent (the last 12 months) releases from:
- Three strategy game publishers: Paradox, Hooded Horse, and Slitherine/Matrix.
- Strategy developers such as Paradox Development Studio and Paradox Tinto, Creative Assembly (Total War), Ubisoft Mainz (Anno), Firaxis (Civ), Mohawk (Old World), Amplitude (Humankind, Endless Legend 2), Pavonis (Terra Invicta), VR Designs (Shadow Empire), and more. I threw in Illwinter (Dominions) and Ashdar (Stars in Shadow) because I love those games.
You can use the filter to toggle between games/DLC and upcoming/Early Access/full releases, and easily identify games that have a demo available!
Finally, you can subscribe (via iCal) to see releases from the big three publishers in your own calendar — see example below. Note this will only show games with a definite release date (“August 13 2026”), not a broad window (“Q3 2026” or 2026).
